Am I the only person who assumes that, when a big city cop car turns on its lights to get through traffic/a traffic light, the driver is only doing so not b/c he's responding to something, but b/c he just doesn't want to deal with the traffic/light?
Cops are dirtbags. I can't imagine what it's like to be black and have a South Side cop stop you or pull you over.
Overheard at a breakfast place in Lincoln Park:
Cop to hostess right as he walks in (w/2 other cops): "It's fucking hot in here; turn the goddamn AC on." Then they proceeded to eat for free.
