It seems like forcibly stopping people from killing themselves is cruel and unusual punishment.*
*I am not saying that the cruel and unusual punishment ban-type thingy in teh law or constitution or whatever applies to the prisoners, and I'm not saying it doesn't. It's just a useful shorthand.
