I just can't understand why a driver would think that they deserve to take away 2 spots that could be used by other poeple with their vehicles. Inflated sense of importance much? Honestly I don't see many minivans here in flashy-car central though, so maybe I'm misremembering.

I'm with Bilmore on this - why in the hell would I take a tiny little spot and have to slide out of said vehicle. I'm not so old and lazy to walk an extra 10 feet. As a matter of fact, I try to park as far away as possible - an end spot if available. I'm telling you, people with minivans always throw their doors open and lean their fat ass against the door while they're rummaging through the garbage in their car to find whatever it is their looking for - door dings are NOT my thing.
