Just thinking about some of the stories makes my eyes water. I read it during my vacation and other passengers on the plane kept looking back at me with looks of either concern or annoyance -- apparently they thought I was crying. Naked was not as uproarious. I plan to buy his and Amy's other books, but wouldn't mind a capsule review from the other Sedaris fans on the board. Having heard Sedaris on NPR a couple of times, I would like to buy his books on tape.

I LOVE David Sedaris! Me Talk Pretty is his best work yet, though Santa Land Diaries is a close second (from Holidays on Ice). Some of my favorites: You Can't Kill the Rooster, the one about Easter, and the one about his dad never throwing food away. I laughed so hard at the airport that people kept staring at me like I was a lunatic. I also saw Sedaris on tour in April. He was good, but I think he's funnier in print.
