I won't dispute that you can find formalistic distinctions to use the Geneva Conventions as both a sword and a shield, but I'm a little surprised that you seem to complete miss that doing this undercuts the principles of the thing. I would have ascribed to you a sort of noble, Bolton-like aim of trashing international law by rendering it meaningless. Sadly, your success in that department seems unintentional.
