Note that this does not go over well in small claims court in Beverly Hills (at least, not when an LA judge is sitting in for an abset Beverly Hills judge). They want to know how the plaintiff came up with the number, which is the maximum anyone can do and be in small claims. They do not like to hear that about 2/3 is "pain and suffering."
ETA I think this redounded to my benefit overall.
