I work out hard every day, and have for more than 15 years. Two hours (cardio and weights) every day, and more on the weekends. I have absolutely no idea what my heart rate is.

some people like heart rate info and all that. It would drive me nuts to have something beeping at me. when I'm stuck using a hotel exercise machine the "targets" and "actual' and all that feedback are too distracting for me. Mostly I just run to fast songs.
The topic is like music though, everyone has their own way, and I can see why people like all the feedback.
I just like knowing what my resting heart rate* is so I know if I'm getting too stressed, or too caffinated, stuff like that.
*plus, my internet resting heart rate of 60 means I'm extremely fit, so i try to bring it up lots.
