And yes, Virginia, Sears does still exist. I bought a stove there not long ago. And a fine stove it is too! The Sears I know about sells only appliances and stuff. No clothing. Although I think there is a Sears in the Cross County Mall in Yonkers that sells the full complement of Sears merchandise -- including clothing, of course.
Say what you will about Sears clothing -- there's nothing like Toughskins jeans for little boys who otherwise rip the knees of their pants! (Or at least that's what my mother used to say -- although this doesn't explain why I had to wear them...)

"Trousers" remind me of trouser snakes, so I can't say that without laughing. "Pants" sounds stupid to me. Maybe it's just a regional thing, but I'm going to stick with "slacks". Too bad we don't have an ignore feature for words so you could skip past all of my posts where I use the word "slacks". Slacks slacks slacks.
And I once knew a guy who had (and wore) black Calvin Klein jean shorts. That one item of clothing violated five of my dealbreakers.
