Best movies of 2003

I'd keep Lost in Translation, LOTR, Vargas, Bad Santa.
I'd add Dirty Pretty Things, American Splendor, City of God, Man on the Train, Pirates of the Carribean, and the Good Thief.

I hate Burton. His Batman fucked up comic book cross-over movies for years. He's like Kevin Costner: a megalomaniac who needs someone to ride his ass and keep him under control.
