I am mostly certain that nearly all of the women* here will agree with me** that this post, along with your earlier rants about giving flowers or jewelry and seeing an ex behind a SO's back, makes it pretty clear you have no friggen' idea what makes a woman tick.
The rest of the guys here should pay attention to BRC's post. This being 2004, those things are no longer the "absolutes" they were in 1904, but they make a woman feel special/treasured. Unless you are surrounded by women clamoring to jump your bones, this is a good thing.
