Where's the debate? 8" chef's knife, well sharpened, for chopping. 4" parer for a lengthwise cut, which is the one that matters for mixing up a bloody mary. Which, I have to observe, is often mixed around here with a detestable amount of Old Bay. Please, folks, Old Bay goes great on crabs, but let's keep the bloodies pure.

Agreed. The Old Bay bloody is a sacrilege.
Stoli 100
V8 spicy
Durkee red hot sauce ot tobasco
lemon wedge
pepper to taste (fressh - large cracked kernels)
That's it - no funky shit.
I hate these bars that try to fuck with classics. If I want a twist with my bourbon, I'd have asked for it. Don't put a wedge of anything near the glass unless its requested or part of the conservative recipe for the drink.
