Don't worry. With Bush's diplomatic touch, he'll bring them around.

Nah, Slave, this won't play too well.
Remember, Kerry = Parisian communist elitist homosexual pussy who will endanger our lives, and lead to the more immediate death of our dog = crushing electoral victory.
Kerry = cheater! cheater! waaaah! = Joe Sixpack stops wondering why O'Reilly is complaining about "Botox," and WTF "Botox" is, and starts wondering why O'Reilly is sobbing on the air.
Of course, had Drudge come up with it in the crucial 2 hours following the debate, Rove could've fucking killed with it. In presidential politics, much like the distant memories of Swifties, timing is everything.

In mocking conservatives, Atticus' visual image, though tasteless, was (I'm guessing) directed at the foibles of the ideological argument du jour by using the image of the conservatives' Leading Light, who died of an illness unrelated to the argument.
In mocking Democrats in an argument over gun rights and gun violence, your visual evokes the dead bodies of victims who were murdered by gun violence.
In the tastelessness department, you've taken it up a notch. Nice job, dimwit.

Yes. Timing is everything.
e.g., Veep Debate and two (2) additional POTUS debates vs. Major League Baseball playoffs
Kerry momentum?
If you can even say that

Yeah, I'm not the boob who brought up dead lawyers, barred by law from possessing guns and thus being able to defend themselves as was envisioned in the Constitution, as props to explain why dead lawyers should be barred by law from possessing guns. Since there is no logical point to the example he brought up, it would appear the only appropriate image would be a babe in diapers whimpering, "b-b-b-but they were killed by guns!" or (in the words of Atticus past) a dog humping their image (the image itself being what he invoked) and barking "but these dead lawyers are my dead lawyers". Or would that be pissing on them to try and claim their bodies in his territory?
And, for what its worth, I don't think I could notch my tastelessness up any further. Nor my assholeishness.
Y'all just let me know if you have anything you could call insightful to add here, cuz calling me tasteless provides about as much insight as calling the ocean blue. You are truly lieutenant material.

Hmm. Perhaps I was reading the wrong thread. I thought the SF attack was brought up in an argument over the wisdom of alerts about armed people entering buildings, not about whether the victims should've been armed themselves. Am I wrong?

Don't worry about it. As they say, there's always room for improvement.

I guess that depends how you frame it. He says they would be alive if someone had called, and if the police had quickly responded, and if the police were ready to take on an armed citizen that day. I say they would be alive if he and you hadn't prevented them from shooting back.
Which is to say, I think those bodies belong to me.

I think this is one where Bush is working with the UN and Kerry says that's wrong.
Oh, and hypothetical:
Suppose the UN passes a resolution ordering Iran to stop building nukes and imposes sanctions. Assume we hadn't invaded Iraq so that Iran's neighbor had ignored resolutions for over a decade. suppose also the leader of Iraq was still skimming billions off the sanctions, such that the sanctions actually turned out to be a sweetheart deal for the leader of Iraq.
Discuss the likelihood of the resolution and sanctions having any effect on Iran.

Funny. I don't remember a Gilligan episode with that plot.
Does it revolve around a nuclear warhead with a trigger made of bamboo?

Hey Slave: Bush "cheated" and still lost.

More fun from the UFT
New Jersey teacher kicked out of her classroom for failing to include a photograph of John Kerry in a montage of US Presidents
link
1) Contrary to the NYT, I don't think Kerry was elected yet.
2) Is their no floor to the levels that the edu-ocracy will sink?
