Can we go with "east of La Brea" or "east of the 5" or something? Because being east (or west, for that matter) of something that runs E-W makes my head hurt.
I have been pondering going to the Constant Gardener (showing at location convenient to me) -- dull is bad, though. Is Syriana really really political? Or is it possible to ignore the political aspects?
