As broad general points, I agree with both those paragraphs. I _think_ TM and Pony Trekker (who you were initally responding to) would as well. And yet -- you fought with TM all day long.
A big part of the problem, which helped spark this whole hullabaloo (good word) is that your two paragraphs are completely nonresponsive to the broader discussion that you jumped into -- to the point that they are damn near non sequiturs.
You read a lot into what PT said which may not have been there, and (I think) missed the point of his statement (which was NOT that racism against whites is okey-dokey), and the ruckus began.
