He laughed and acted like everything was fine. They couched everything in this "we did this all for you" light, and I think getting all of the prizes from the show probably helped his mood. He was (and according to the post-show interview still is) sort of pissed at Brian, who was supposed to be his best friend in the house. I guess the friendship aspect coupled with the fact that Brian was also a writer for the show sort of screwed with Matt's head.
In the post show interview he reminded Ralph (the smarmy host) that they hadn't really done everything for him - they were doing it for ratings, etc. He mentioned that they got lucky that he was able to handle the deception better than most would have. But he said in retrospect he would do it all again.
