This is not true. Over the last 14 days they've had over 3000 cases, Norway under 900. Sure, it looks like their curve has taken a steep dive, but because it was such an incredible shitshow, their infection rate is still above their neighbor (which acted sensibly, not moronically).
Sure, look back in a year and see afterwards whether there was some benefit from the shitshow. But you can't demonstrate any benefit today.
