Probably later down the line people might have a choice. I got Moderna because that's what we had at work. My parents also got Moderna because that's what was available at the local hospital.

I also was part of making the matrix at work. Residents, docs, and nurses definitely went before the privacy officer/senior legal officer. We had 3000 doses, and many of our front line people got their vaccines two weeks ago through the hospitals that they staff.

BTW, if you have parents in rural areas, get them to call the hospitals and see if they can get on a wait-list for unused vaccine. That's how my parents were able to get some on Wednesday. Some of the smaller communities got more than enough for their staff plus some.
