I met the real-life KITT at a car show. Michael Knight wasn't there. The car wouldn't talk to me. He would just spout out random KITT-isms. I've never been so disappointed in my life.
And then KITT showed up on Boy Meets World as Mr. Feeney.
Edited to add that I'm responding to this post b/c I remember the back-to-back star-studded programming of DoH and KR...
