If you do read it, check out the picture of Mr. and Mrs. Benson about a third of the way down on the right and please explain how a guy who looks like that gets any, let alone a superfreak like Anna.

OK, this is just weird:
"Kris and I have everyone that comes to this house sign a confidentiality agreement. People just want to make money, so we started doing it a couple of years ago. We didn't want to get burned because we've seen so many people burned. I'm paranoid, so we do it just in case. I mean, if somebody steals naked pictures I took for my husband's 30th birthday and gives them to somebody ..."

Her face was quite hairy at one point. She had a 'stache and also some stray curly hair coming down on her forehead. My mother thought that might be symptomatic of steroid use but Venus also had the stray curly q hair thing going on too and she is a stick. I also note that Venus is renowned for her power but not as much as serena. does the five or six inch difference in height create comparable power to steriod use? probably not.
serena does have the biggest ass I have ever seen on a not fat person. Do steriods go to your ass?

Namaste.

Who wants to be on your stinky old mat anyway? Harumph.
On another note, a big FU to Ty for posting that weirdo game where you have to put all the elements in order to launch the satellite (or whatever). There's three hours gone.

Sometimes I'm shocked that we managed to crawl out of the primordial ooze.

To be fair, I'm sure some fell back in.

That's probably because physics is really really hard and you didn't want to put in th extra effort cuz you were too busy thinking about having babies.

Reality debut week
So. my Tivo has been resurrected and I can now watch tv again after having to watch nothign but DVDs (except for one TAR) bc i had no Tivo and cannot bear to watch tv without it. If I am forced to watch commercials and cannot fastforward through stupid challenges, I would rather kayak. but its back and just in time. bc TAR is unwatchable with Tivo as is pretty much anything but the Daily Show.
ANyway, this week brings us American Idol, another APprentice and another Survivor. I am starting to feel very been there done that about all three enterprises. And a taping conflict between AI and TAR raises the issue, do I really need to see another season of AI? Do we? SHould we just skip the first couple of episodes where Fox tries to recapture the William Hung glory and tapes a bunch of bad singers and we get to see Randy cover his face and Paula try to look neutral and Simon say something quippy but about as clever as that Weakest Link lady. What do people who have watched this drivel in the past think? can we ever regain the excitement of Clay v Ruben? SHould we just start watching when we are down to the top ten or however many it is?
and what about the apprentice? I personally cannot stand Trump, his product placements, his self flagellation and now his wedding. I certainly don't want to add to his fortune. ANd last season's finale has left a gaping gash on my attention span. They really should space these shows out , so they are annual. Is anyone gonna watch?
Ditto survivor. The problem with this show is the same as the others as the finales have been increasinly tedious and predictacble. and survivor's problem is that while it gets good midseason, the first six or so episodes are extremely boring unless you have a bitchy gay guy or a team of hot lesbos. but you have to watch them to get familiar with the characters. I don;t know what to do.
so who is watching what and why? is anyone watching any new reality shows like wickedly perfect? I am not.

See, Hank, here's your proof that evolution is a valid theory. Even today, the species manages to weed itself.

I am watching TAR and Project Runway (which is an excellent show, by the way, even without RT's friend - bitchy or downright insane fashion designer personalities coupled with flaky teenaged models). When they start back up again, I plan to watch the new Apprentice and America's Next Top Model (which I loved last season). I think that's about it, other than the occasional Mtv reality show marathon. And my secret RR/RW Challenge addiction (I think Less and I might be the only 2 people over 30 in the country watching those shows). And reality poker shows (World Poker Tour, World Series of Poker and Celebrity Poker), but I don't really think of those as reality tv.
See? I've cut back!

"Tasked with"
The Time obituary ncs just posted a link to on the death pool board uses this phrase in what seems to me a weird context, given that it seems like a fairly recent invention of corporate America:
"By the 1960s, Zhao [Ziyang] had risen to Party secretary of Guangdong province, near Hong Kong, before being purged during the Cultural Revolution for his association with Mao's enemies. As that decade of chaos ended, Zhao was posted to remote Sichuan province as CCP secretary, where Deng Xiaoping tasked him with introducing economic reforms."
Yeah yeah, I know we don't have to use language as it existed at the time history occurred to describe historical events, but this just sounded weird to me.
