I was going to do the same thing this weekend but it was too hot to turn on the oven. Summer came to Minnesota in September. |

There are several options on Amazon, but those don't necesarily seem like good prices to me. The Just Raspberries on that page should be available at Whole Foods, if no place else.

For topping or in the batter? Either way, I would suggest frozen rather than dried. If putting them in the batter, thaw them, rinse them and pat dry before adding.

Nothing is wrong with fresh except that they must be in season and then you must use all of them fairly quickly, as rapsberries are quite rapid spoilers.
And I was trying not to fight the question too much.
