I meant that, simply as an economic question for the lawyer thinking of taking his lawsuit, this would be a worthwhile risk - the chances of success are even, I think, and there's money to collect.

She's a repugnant person and probably deserves whatever difficulty this lawsuit causes her, regardless of how meritless his claim may be under the law, and regardless of his incredibly poor judgment in banging a much younger staffer. She knew when she posted his initials that anyone on Capitol Hill could figure out who he was, and she didn't do it out of some concern that he might take advantage of other helpless young things. The fact that she profited from her behavior is pretty appalling, although not surprising, and I can only imagine how much it causes him to seethe.

Your points are well taken, but you know what? He really should have considered the consequences of what he was doing when he did it. There are some times in life where whatever you're getting ($, pussy, a free pass out of trouble) is just toooo easy, and you know its going to come back and bite you in the ass. When you screw a little office nympho, as you're standing behind her, slapping her ass, you're realizing "Yeh, this has got to have a price..." And it does. The easy fun stuff all has a price. He wants revenge, and I don't think it's because his feewing were huwt. Given how harshly a jury would likely view her, he has a chance, if he can get it past a judge. Of course, having conceded that everything she said is true may make that difficult.

So, because every young attorney needs three cars, I didn't get rid of my saab when I bought my new car. Now the stereo panel died on it, so I can listen to a CD but I can't change the track etc and can't change the radio station when there's no CD in it.

Do I cough up the money to fix it at the Saab place;

This is a very good point, esp. considering that he's in a fucking political job and really should have better instincts. However, while I do not espouse using the judicial system to do this, I think that chick deserves a little comeuppance (did somebody make this bad pun already?)
