Amen. One only needs to notice the cigarette in her hand to be unable to feel sorry for her. Sure, picking up white trash is a vice, but if you're a pop singer in this day and age and you're smoking a cigarette, you've just given up.

(This is not a condemnation of smokers generally; I was formerly one. But no one was shelling out big bucks to here me sing, either.)

Maybe Federline's is. The guy's gotta have something other than that down-home familiarity going for him.

I would imagine that a dancer knows how to use his hips.

It's not like you have to be truthful when you fill out those on-line forms. Just make sure to put in the correct zip-code. Everything else can be bogus.

1. She's not pretty. At her very made-up, air-brushed best, she was cute.

2. She's sweet? Okay. Who cares?

3. You hope she lands on her feet? Are you kidding? How so? You hope she continues to sell 5 million albums a pop? You hope she doesn't spend the $50 mil she has socked away for a rainy day? What are you saying?

I never feel sorry for superstars who are idolized and then spit out. They've lived a life people can only dream about. I don't give a shit if it's short-lived. They can cry themselves to sleep on their huge golden pillahs.

Good lord. Chill.

As you well know, I have many things to shed tears on these days other than Britney Spears. I was merely saying that I hope she wises up and stops being a laughingstock. The amount of money she has doesn't have anyting to do with that. I spent like 2 minutes thinking about it and decided I felt bad for her. that's it. end of story. No need to get all worked up.

Don't try to neuter me with real world stuff. Besides, Canada just won, so I'm not going to mourn for you for on that front for at least another week.

I spent the same amount of time thinking about it, but came to a different conclusion because she's largely brought it on herself.

Fair enough. Perhaps I should have been more precise:

No dads of 14 year old girls are shelling out big bucks for their daughters to hear me sing while they stuff their ears with whatever is available and watch me gyrate laciviously onstage and think about how they wish they were 20 years younger and living in a trailer park (or just looking like they do).

I have no idea what a front row ticket to a Britney concert ran at the peak of her popularity, but I imagine it is around the same amount as people would pay for me to not sing in their presence for two hours.

Bigfoot is next

A Texas rancher shot and killed a weird dog/coyote mix, and everyone's speculating as to if it's a chupacabra.

"Devin MacAnally shot the Elmendorph Beast after it ate dozens of his chickens. The animal has a blue-grey coloring, is almost hairless, has a short mane and large fangs."

Local biologists don't know what the fuck it is. I dunno, it didn't look like a Mexican goat sucker to me.

Article and video: here.
