2. I've noticed a troubling lack of care with spelling and grammar from more and more posters.
We certainly do not always appear as an organization of professionals who trade in their language skills.

Sure. Burger wanted to distinguish between eaters of raisin pie and raisins who happen to be pie eaters.

I thought s/he was questioning dtb's use of a hyphen in her response.

Which seemed longer, the flight to visit Slave, or the flight back home afterwards?

Then why did she quote Burger? Maybe she could have used a hyphen to make her intent clear.

Gallon can. Whoa. I think a worst beer taste off may be in order. I am ready, considering 200 Chaser Plus pills arrived in my office today.

At this late date, do I still have to explain that I am more a fan of style than substance. Your saying is identical to Mr. Man's...
But his sounds so much cooler.

This is a lot more than "creating a first impression." This is a continual process involve methodical masking of the actual self and careful cultivation of a persona. Its not just "putting on a good face." I'd have to give you the book for you to truly understand it. Alas, I was at a friend's house, and it was a friend's book. I'll get the title.
