I imagine it's tough to explain that one to the kids, but perhaps we should take this conversation over to the parents board.

Happy birthday, Ashley

As I am sure you are all aware, today is Ashley Judd's birthday. Since it is also hockey season, here is (for, like, the 459th time) the famous Ashley-in-a-hockey-sweater pic:

Everyone else that was represented by his publicist and agent boycotted doing interviews with Esquire for years afterwards, and Spacey has later stated that no, he is not gay. The article was fairly suggestive, and ever since then Spacey has been on the "in the closet" list with Tom Cruise, Helen Hunt, etc.
Didn't Helen Hunt just get married (to a male), and maybe even have a baby? Not that marriage to a member of the opposite sex and procreation is dispositive, but a rebuttable presumption, I would think.

She was married to/coupled with (I can't remember which) Hank Azaria for years, and the theory was that they were beards for each other. The kid thing probably helps to rebut the presumption more than the marriage. They were just an example of people on the list as possibly gay in Hollywood.

ETA: I merely report rumor. I have no idea if any of these people or gay or straight, and it's very unlikely that I'll ever be in a position to know.

She got married to Hank Azaria and then they got divorced. Rumor has it that Hank is also in the closet. Rumor also has it that Hank is a womanizer. Who knows - he is flirty and has his share of female fans (myself* included).

*not sure if this is one of those times where it is actually acceptable to use "myself" - I think it is because it is like saying "I include myself among those fans".

If I had to characterize it, it tasted the way I would expect Rat to taste. Kind of gamey, wild-tasting, tough, but bland at the same time. Nothing bad about it, but it's something I would reserve for those days when the ATM didn't work.
You must have been eating the hippie organic free-range GP. Say what you will about the evils of corporate ranching, a few weeks in the feed lot produces a plumper, more flavorful rodent.

I guess the more important question remains unanswered. Why in the hell did you want to know what Guinea pig tasted like? Is he pissing you off? Too much noise in the habitrail? Does he look at you like he wants to kill you?

OK, so I got my facts a little confused, but here's what imdb has to say:
  • Expecting her first baby with producer boyfriend Matthew Carnahan in the summer of 2004.

I just bought a new Weber grill on Atticus's recommendation, and everything tastes fantastic. If I don't make it to the grocery store this evening, we're going to grill today's crop of credit-card solicitations and real-estate flyers, and I'm sure they'll be delicious too.

I know saying this is going to make me unpopular around here, but I feel the moral duty to let you know that grilling your food increases the carcinogen content.
