I am still amazed that otherwise intelligent people think that repetition of baseless party-determined slogans will accomplish anything beyond rousing cheers from the similarly-challenged. (You forgot to talk about the election that Bush lost. Linkage, boy, linkage!)

Aside from the racism inherent in your post, the premise is hilarious. i.e that Tiger is a hero to "the black community" in particular.

Re-read my posts. They were not directed towards the 2004 elections. They never criticized Bush, nor were they intended to criticize the administration for suggesting a link pre-War. I don't think the Bush admin. oversold that link pre-war (unlike the WMD). I ws just discussing the issue, and my posts were directed particularly at the Feith memo and at club attempting to use that memo -- both of them as post-hoc justifications to cherry-pick some intelligence at the expense of others and to build the intelligence into more than the professionals think it will support.

But since you asked -- YES BUSH SURE AS FUCK SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO evaluate such intelligence appropriately by relying on what the trained professionals were telling him, rather than having Cheney down at the CIA twice a fucking week to squeeze the analysts for more and different reports.

Or, since you opened this can of worms, do you seriously propose
that the administration simply took what was offered it and used said information and/or passed that information on to the public (to the extent it could) in a neutral fashion?? OR -- do you believe that as of at least August 2002 (when Cheney went on TV and talked about Iraq's nonexistent "reconstituted nuclear program")-- the U.S. was going to invade Iraq regardless of the intel. and almost no matter what Hussein did?

Let's never ever look back upon and evaluate and critique the actions of our government in an effort to decide whether they were (a) justified, or (b) properly executed, or (c) undertaken for the right reasons, or (d) if the government even knew WTF they were doing.

P.S. I am neither particularly for Dean nor Kerry ... I am, however, beginning to deeply relish the prospect of Senator H. Clinton (D. - N.Y.) ramming a huge pole up the Republicans' asses in 2008. (After your party has added more than another $1 trillion to the national debt.)
