Yes that's exactly the kind of response I'd expect from you. Try Midol next time. It works better.

When did he become completely unfunny? Monday Night Football? Granted, he hasn't fallen as hard as Chevy Chase, but Chase had farther to fall.

I heart Ron Rosenbaum, many of whose articles touching on the Skull & Bones can be found here. There's also his book, The Secret Parts Of Fortune, which I recommend but which one should buy through the lawtalkers link.

eta: Oops, that first link is busted because they don't maintain the page. Go here to the Observer's Advanced Search page, select Rosenbaum as the author and then type "Skull AND Bones" into the Full Article Search box, and you'll replicate the list I generated. Like anyone cares.

I know I'm going to catch hell for this, but he became unfunny right about the time he became a hardcore Bush supporter. He was on Leno a couple weeks ago and his shit has become so lame I can't even watch him anymore.

It's not his politics per se, it's just that he's become so smugly earnest since the conversion. He's forgotten that he's a comedian, same thing that happened on MNF.

Oh, I though you were going to say that Midol works better than bnb's fave, cocaine, and I though that would be great, because there's Midol in the medicine cabinet here at work, and it's not that time of the month for me (hi, Coltrane!) but I do have a lot of work to get done, and could use an energy/creativity boost.

So thanks for clearing that up.

By the way, how does the stick up one's ass affect energy and creativity?

That's it. Earnest is not funny. He did have some pretty funny moments during MNF, but it was clear that he was too cool for the room.

She should have given it to Mary Kate Olsen, from the sound of things.

i like it less than the others you've had. the white eyes kind of creep me out. but then I'm not sure that you are trying to get into my pants, so maybe my opinion of your avatar is irrelevant.

Hells no. That would mean giving up the alcohol. And that's just not going to happen. What would Colin do if we couldn't drink together?

I've been told that red bull and vodka work wonders. Let me know - I've got a late night ahead of me.
