joys of home ownership
I hate having my suspicions of a drainage leak confirmed. The question now becomes, how much is this going to cost?

First of all, Fox? That's the best you can do?
Second - A woman is suing Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick claiming he knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease.
In the civil lawsuit, Sonya Elliott -- who says she is Vick's former girlfriend -- claims Vick gave her genital herpes in a 2003 encounter.
Elliott's attorney, Cale Conley, says she took legal action after Vick refused to help her deal with the symptoms she says he infected her with. Conley says she asked for help for two years, and is now suing because the statute of limitations is expiring.
OK, there is some weird story floating around about the bogus name he used when he got the std testing, but I can't find it. Anyone know anything about it?

Possibly both. I discovered the leak while doing laundry.
The only bright side is that I have a pier and beam house, so there's no slab to remove.

No, but I'd be happy to cite you the relevant portions of the Privacy Rule.

Someone has used the word "Sub-Plan" as a noun throughout a document. This looks wrong to me with the hyphen. Am I right that this is suspect, or am I just wary of hyphens after my slap-down from dtb?
See, because, like, "slap-down" looks OK to me there.

Where's the leak? I'd blame the repavers if it's outside.
ETA: It all depends on what they have to dig up. Kind of hard to assess without a floor plan or something.

Detergent-y water was pooling right under the bathroom, next to recycling bin. Laundry is in the kitchen. I'd seen the water before, but I'd convinced myself that it was runoff from the recycling bin.
Pier and beam house that's easy to crawl under. The hope is that the water is dripping down from a pipe under the house rather than seeping up from a pipe under the ground or dripping from a pipe inside house, so no digging or cutting through (and replacing) walls is required.

Thank God the Yankees and Red Sox aren't playing again for a while.
Notwithstanding ESPN's efforts to hype the eighth inning of last night's into Ron Artest Goes To Motown II, it looked to me like the fan was reaching over the railing for the ball and came too close to Sheffield's face. Sheffield -- who maybe doesn't have the longest fuse in baseball* -- understandably took exception. The woman too his left pulled back too quickly, knocking into the guy next to her, who spilled his beer on her and Sheffield. Cooler heads then prevailed.
The fan deserved to be tossed out. He was trying to interfere with a ball in play, and if he'd touched the ball he would have turned a Varitek triple into a double. But I didn't see him take a swing at Sheffield.
* A Google search didn't show me what I was looking for, but I did find this: "Following his Belmont Heights shooting in 1995, Sheffield was so enraged that he said he would have pursued or even shot his assailant, if he could only find the gun he usually carried in his car."

Survivor (spoiler) Apprentice (nonspoiler)
What happened there?
SPOOILER
I got a little lost on Kolby's theory about getting Stephanie- why would he think he had a chance? He wasnt gonna swing the couple and he was down Five to Four otherwise. Why didnt he just try to stay in the majority?
And I missed the roundup- who voted Janu and Steph? My guesss is that Kolby must have voted Steph for betraying him and that Steph voted Janu bc she made a promise to Kolby? they definiltey didnt show some key shit, or I missed it.
APPRENTICE- NO SPOILER
This show completely sucks. Its like a bunch of Slaves doing a lousy job at product placement. No, I don't think the Pontiac is classy. Except for the firebird/thunderbird- whichever one isnt from the eighties with the painting of the bird on the hood.

Survivor Spoiler Space
Coby voted for Janu (traitor!) and Janu voted for Steph. I had to rewind to catch this. Coby's "they voted for me because I was such a threat!" rationale was laughable, but at least it made him feel better. I guess "they voted for me because I was a drama queen pain in the ass!" didn't quite have the same ring to it.
Apprentice (no spoiler space needed)
They are, and have been since day one, lousy. All of them. I don't know how any single one of them could possibly win. Trump would be a fool to hire any of them. But Trump is, in fact, a fool, so he probably will.
"GM only makes a couple billion more than I do." So why'd your casino empire just file for bankruptcy then, asshole?

Apprentice NOn Spoiler
I actually think Tana isn't half bad. Her problem is that she is a patch guido and not suitable to be publicly displayed in the new york business world. Maybe if they give her a Carolyn makeover (i think she is so pretty now and I cant figure out what the difference is, can you?). the rest are garbage.
SURVIVOR SPOILER
Whats the reason for Koby voting for Janu? Did Steph tell him that she was going with the majority so his plan to revolt was scratched and everyone lied to him and said they were voting Janu? I was bummed he left, but if this is the case, not so much. I love Janu. She is my alltime favorite Vegas showgirl. She better start winning immunity fast.

2. She's the consensus in my family, but she has presentation issues. However, if last night was the first time I'd considered Kendra, she might have been okay... except that all she talks about is "i do everything, waaaaah".
And Alex sucks. He's made a straight series of bad choices now.
Who did people root for on TAR? The mother and gay son and Uchenna and Joyce are my faves this season.
