Did Nokomis win the veto in the live feed, or have I missed an episode? Yes, but they don't show the competions on the feeds. It will be in tonight's episode.
Anyway, why wouldn't Drew nominate one of the other girls, since he seems like he wants to bang out Diane for a while? I thought they were on the outs, given that, on Sunday, she said "What a worthless piece of shit Drew turned out to be!” But she sucked up, and he put up Adria/NAtalie in lieu of Nic.
I concur that Scott and Jase are morons and that will bite them in the ass by the end. I also agree that they should keep Marvin around. I also agree that Drew looks good for the win, but don't know about Nic because she is such an outsider and is being repeatedly nominated. Michael is a moron - Marvin has named his speech batterns "Cowbonics." Adria/Natalie should definitely be perceived as a threat if they come in together, but
It could easily be a tie this week. Drew, Holly and Adria/Natalie can't vote. That leaves Jase, Scott & Michael clearly against Adria/Natalie, and Will, Karen and Diane clearly against Holly. The wildcards are Marvin and Nic, but I think Marvin goes with the boys while Nic goes against Holly. Drew would break the tie, and, although Diane and Natalie have been working on him to boot Holly, I suspect he sticks with his alliance. In that case, we would never see the twins.
Weren't there three Project DNA twists? I thought that Nokomis and Micheal were one and Adria and Natalie were one. Shouldn't there be a third? There has been speculation that other brother/sister or twins are or will be involved. [/QUOTE]

Does it normally take you two hands to operate a remote? Cause you know, I can handle my own button.

This will come as a surprise to exactly no one -- but I had to laugh when I read question 444 (Have you ever found a grammatical error in a published book?).
But that test must be from 1975 -- do you have a cellular phone? Who doesn't have a cellular phone?
I like the self-referential test.

I scored somewhere in the low 40s when I last took it. But I have friends who have crossed into the 50s and even 60s (generally requires an MIT degree to get to this level).
And I can do the self-referential test. That was a challenge.

Wait a second -- are you talking about getting a 40 after dividing by 500? If you are -- whoa!
I barely scored a 30. How can that be?

I got the geeky adolescent male teen questions.
And, you only get one point for finding grammatical errors in published books - so I got the same point you did, even though you find them in every book you read.

One has to hold the beer. Propping an ice-cold bottle up against your ass seems, I don't know, kind of rude...
BTW, when you handle that button does the channel change? Do you start screaming in Spanish? What?

Exactly. Annakin Skywalker was a Jedi, then became a Sith Lord and changed his name to Darth Vader, which seems to be a Sith naming convention - the red bad guy Sith in the first prequel was Darth Maul, and the head bad guy Sith is Darth Siddius (not completely sure of the spellings).
That's why I said I quible with it. It's not right, but it's not completely wrong.
To completely geek out, I would say that in the original trilogy it was implied that Sith are simply Jedi who have turned to the Dark Side, but as the Star Wars universe backstory has filled out in novels, comic books, cartoons, video games and the prequels, the relationship becomes a bit more complex: Maul was never a Jedi. It's unclear whether Count Dooku (who was Yoda's apprentice) in the second prequel is actually Sith or just a Jedi who's turned evil. Under the original trilogy that would be a distinction without meaning, but there seems to be a rule now that there can only be two Sith at any one time.
But I'm still not giving the guy next to me a hug at the announcement of anything Star Wars related.

Hello everyone. I am a geek. The Sith were once a primitive people in a far off land. No force abilities. After being defeated by the light Jedi in the Great Schism, a bunch of dark Jedi broke off from the main Jedi order and set off into exile. There they found and subjugated the Sith, eventually interbreeding with them and showing them the way of the dark side. Eventually, they took on the name Sith and became a mighty empire, yada yada yoda.
There is only one Dark Lord of the Sith, but there are many Sith Lords, anyone named Darth being one of them. It's like a title, like Baron.
I'm sure you are all happy I revived this thread, welcome you are.

I would think Coltrane would have a beer in one hand, the remote in the other, and let her take care of her own button.
I guess he's more of a giver than I'd thought.
