I thought the same thing. "Shit, the casting on this is fantastic."

Speaking of Willie, I bought that version of "It Was a Very Good Year" he does with Ray Charles on Ray's Starbucks disc (can't recall name). Willie's great, but damn.... Ray sounds like shit. They shouldn't have milked him for that last record. Its embarrassing.

What do you think of the Comback?
NOt a whole lot of laughs there. The problem with doing a faux-documentary-tv-show-with-main-character-constantly-humiliating-themself, is that it's inevitably going to fall short of The Office.

are people posting "golfclap" (or "golf clap") ironically or not ironically? Because it is a really stupid response and I just want to be clear whether the disdain I feel each time that is posted is entirely warranted or only partially warranted. Thanks in advance.

I will be completely earnest, like a young Spanky, when and if I post golf clap.

Seems to me to be coincidental.

We called a guy to come clean out gutters. He went straight up a ladder, way the fuck up high. It was really impressive.

What pisses me off (as Dukes of Hazzard was my fave show when I was about 5 years old) is that of all of the 200+ movies in my Netflix queue, Disc 1 of D of H is in first position and is still on "very long wait".

I was hoping to catch up and reminisce before seeing the movie.

Thank goodness for this post as I now have the D of H theme song in my head and it has dislodged crappy NKOTB Step by Step, which I have been humming ALL FREAKING DAY, and am ashamed to admit that I actually know all of the words to it.

If you are ever called to jury duty in California, say "recockulous" at some point during voir dire. That's the code word. If I'm one of the lawyers I promise you you'll go home early.
