Anyways, I've seen the Dan Band perform a few times, and their shtick is pretty much what you see in the movie.

You remind me that the band playing the high-school reunion in Something_Wild was The Feelies, one of my faves. Jonathan Demme clearly has solid musical taste. Sister Carol wasn't a bad find, either.

So bitter. So negative.

Even though he goes away, the rest of the movie is simply not funny. It's a sad thing, really. Like being away at the beach and getting a phone call telling you that your wife's aunt died. It's not enough reason to cut the vacation short, but it puts a damper on the rest of the weekend.

I am worried about you, dude. I really think it would do you good to find something that would put you in a better space. You know, like, mentally? You just seem really edgy and kind of angry. Like I said earlier, I just mixed this super mellow CD. Early Rinocerose. Some remixes from ESL Music compilations. A little Amon Tobin. Some mellow cuts from Six Degrees compilations. It is definitely not music that you can listen to 24-7, but it might be just the trick to get you thinking more positively about things.

I know you just put this in here to get a rise out of someone, so here you go:
Why is this weird? Would it be less weird if she were slender and he were tubby?
On a side note, why does it seem wrong to me to write "if she were slender and he were tubby" but it also seems wrong to write "if she were slender and he was tubby"?
I am assuming that "isn't" in the quoted sentence was supposed to be "is."

I guess that night spent banging Tara in Jersey wore him out. I predict that this relatuonship, such as it is, is over. Bc Mark is really taking his tennis seriously. Or so I hope.

Tara Reid ... is about one meth binge away from a weekend in the Valley where she (and the world) discover her true talent lies in not merely playing Bunny Lebowski but in being Bunny Lebowski. Picture a world where she and Asia Carerra triumphanty reunite for Logjammin' 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Paigow, how's your crush list looking these days? I should think Jack moved up with a bullet.
And I echo Dualit's thanks for the humpy pics of Moya. He looks different in every pic -- he looked ugly in the one you posted last week. And while I'm not a fan of sleeveless shirts on men, and especially not on the tennis court (keep the pit hair out of view, thanks), he does wear his well.

Maybe you're just not in a subjunctive mood.

No, I think the double negative was intended, you know, as flair.
I now have a medley of Total Eclipse of the Heart and Here I Go Again running through my brain. It's actually not unentertaining. I think I may have to rent Old School just to see this band.

Anyone watch BB4 last night, or has it gotten so bad that everyone abandonned?
Can Jun gain anymore weight?
Has Alison put on about 20 lbs. in the stomach?
PBandJ is fattening.
Who will Alison choose to axe?

Did I miss something? I am still watching this Shit Ass Show and why is Allison in charge of choosing to axe someone? Hate her. She thinks she is as smart as Jun thinks she is hot, and both are not especially either. Fucking delusional.

Allison has the POV and she was nominated with Jee. She will take herself off and put up (I would think) Ratbert. I believe that the POV and the vote will both be live tommorow nite.
I am amzed at how much they all seem to genuinely hate each other. Everyone talking about secret alliances blah, blah, blah. They are truly an unlikeable bunch.

Alison will choose who goes b/c she has the veto power. Jun nominated Alison and Jee. I don't think this is a bad move strategically, because Alison will then use the power of veto and probably put up . . . well, who knows? I would say Robert but Alison's such a loose cannon, you never know. At any rate, this strategy causes Alison to tip her hand. Probably the smart thing to do now that they are down to four would be to use the veto to put up and get rid of Erika, who would otherwise win in a walk once the jury gets involved because the other three are just so damned unlikeable.

I would love to see Alison's outsize ego get the better of her and lead her not to exercise the power of vito (vee-toe, people, hard t, say it with me now, vee-toe) because she is so sure that people want Jee to leave.
But of course she will save her own hideous ass, because she is a cockroach and she will survive (hey, hey).

Gallows Humor?
There are some weird-ass websites out there. Googling on a death-penalty related topic, I stumbled across this:
Dead Man Eating link
Edited to say nothing here you can't bring up on a screen at work. Just tells you what various people ate before they were executed. You can also write in what you would want to eat for your last meal.

I think she knows she will lose in a head-to-head with Erika and she was working on an alliance with Robert last night because she thinks she has a chance with the jury against him (even though she is wrong). If she was smart, she would put Robert up, and the girls will vote Jee off. Jee is the best bet for HOH next week and he would toss her ass out of the house for sure, and probably throw Jun in for good measure since she's abandonned their alliance (but would probably suck up to him if he were to win HOH).
