I don't pay attention, but there are still guys that have to pick up the cans aren't there?

Not here. The truck has an arm that picks up the cans. I think that the guys just pick up bags full of lawn trimmings and tree branches.

Oh. like the bushes you had killed?

I hid the bodies in the trash can so as to not rub it in.

Don't they at least give her the appearance of having a neck? I assume that's better than having the appearance of not having a neck.

A v-neck would give her the appearance of having a neck. The eye would be fooled into seeing skin between her chin and her clavicle.

Maybe a boatneck would work. But not a crew neck.

It's obvious that you make the wife take the trash out - so to speak.

No. What RT said. Garbage detail is a 1 guy thing. 3 different trucks. 1 for trash, 1 for recycle and 1 for green waste. No one ever gets out of a truck. If you leave your Christmas tree on the curb, it will sit there until one of the neighbor kids sets it on fire or you haul it off yourself.

I pay enough attention to know that, at least in DC, someone has to drag the rolling canister over to the arm that picks it up and dumps it into the truck.

Of course, I also pay enough attention to know that, in DC, we rarely have equipment of the type that is still employed anywhere other than third-world countries.

These are the times when I appreciate merely having to choose between the color of suit, and a suitably coordinating tie.

If you were a no-neck you would want to be careful about your choice of collar.

I, of course, can wear anything. Except, lately, for most of my favorite pants.

BTW, where are you with the lance armstrong story?

Personally, I'm pretty cheesed that my local cable purveyor is moving OLN from the basic tier to some high-priced tier with a bunch of other worthless channels that I don't care to pay for.

I am not, but I am still careful, because I worry about the criticisms sebby lays on those who would wear point collars.

Let me assure everyone that I do not wear button-down collars with a suit.

AUGUSTA, Georgia (Reuters) - Six-times Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong said Monday he would retire after this year's race in July.

The 33-year-old American, addressing a news conference, said: "I have thought a lot about it, I have gone back and forth. My time has come but I will definitely have the itch every now and again.

His new two-year contract to race for the Discovery Channel team requires he compete in just one more Tour de France.

Armstrong says he is “100 percent committed” to his decision to retire and that he will not be participating in any other races after July 24 — the scheduled end of the Tour de France. (Emphasis added).

Sorry man, I was eating lunch. It won't happen again.

Here's a more flattering pic (well, other than that weird mid-word facial expression), so that you can see how horrible an idea it is to put her in a turtleneck:

And now that I've spent at least one hour of my day looking at Kit Hoover information, I thought that you'd want to know that some guy with a blog is in love with Kit Hoover. I'm not sure whether he's aware of her axing by ESPN, but if I were an ESPN exec, I'd watch my back.
