I was only going to go for the GT3. After all, after a few years, it's good to get the latest model.

At any rate, they hold their value exceptionally well. Do an ebay search for vintage hamiltons.

Get an automatic and you'll have a great looking watch that will last forever.
Dude, what part of None Of Them Looked Like What I Wanted was unclear to you? I don't care about getting mad props from watch dorks in the know.

That Ebel is nice. Not in stock right now though. I'm waiting to hear back from my watch bookie about what kind of price I can get the Tag for. If the price isn't right, I might investigate Ebels further.

Thanks.

Bombay Sapphire with Lillet, in a 10:3 ratio. Float some olives in the ice tub.

Hmmm, interesting that you should mention S. Amboy. I have just received an offer on a lateral position that would bring me up to NY and out of Wilmington, and have been thinking about where to live. Affordability and opportunity to purchase being high on my list.

I have heard tell of luxury townhomes that are located right on the waterfront in South Amboy that apparently are affordable and convenient to Manhattan by hi-speed ferry. The limited info I got was that's its like a younger hipper Hoboken or Jersey City, with lots of new business and trendy eateries etc.

Anyone got the 411 on these things?

Bombay Sapphire, with Lillet in a 10:3 ratio. Add plenty of olives to the punch bowl. Make friends with the people who don't need to use their fingers or toothpicks to fish them out.

I wasn't arguing that point. If you don't like the look, you don't like the look. Dude.

It is. And that is most fitting for the most ridiculous concept ever. Tara Reid, playing sexy archaeologist?

Yep. I've had several over the years, and I currently own a few of them. If I didn't have to feed the children, I'd have them all.

I'm buying the watch with inheritance money. So I want something that will be timeless (ha!) and the price point isn't quite as important as having something that I really like that won't be out of style next year. I think the Tag fits the bill.

(As an aside, the chaise, which was also bought with inheritance money is stunning. And it makes for a good spare bed in a pinch.)
I thought the Benton was rather similar. That's why I noted it in the link.

Although if you are going for something timeless, I'd spend a few thousand more and buy something that truly is timeless, like a Patek, Baume & Mercier, or a Zenith. A Tag is not likely to last 15 years. Any of the other watches I mentioned above will last for generations.

I'm OK with that.
I'd like the midnight blue or seal gray. Full leather.
