This isn't a closed board so I don't want to inadvertently out her. People who know her and remember what she likes to eat should be able to easily find it.

Get much local maple syrup?
Agreed, although you can get enough winter chill for nearly anything in the Sierra Foothills. FWIW, I'm not a California produce snob -- a lot of what's grown here doesn't fit well into the ecosystem, and the locavore movement is prone to exacerbate the absurdity -- "Fresh from San Francisco's oldest family-owned sustainable practices organic sugar cane plantation!"

So, yeah, maple syrup should come from Vermont, and sugar should come from C&H.

Hank swears the Miles of Chocolate board he moderates is all about Detroit-area recruiting prospects for the Pistons, but the FBI is unconvinced.

Sadly, I thought of you when I bought some today at the store. I will likely do the same when I drink one later this evening.

Smashing, my work here may be near complete...........try that Santa's Little Helper too, if you can find it. The 10.5% ABV will help you forget the paralegal......

Actually, he's expanded beyond a truck.

I am guessing that places further away from the border don't have as many Mexican spice and produce markets available to them. Pray for comprehensive immigration reform, if only to improve the ingredients in your area.
Just FYI. The only vanilla in p's life is the sex that big wife gives him once a month
