I thought it was one of the only DeNiro movies in the last 10-15 years in which he didn't annoy the piss out of me. Owen Wilson, however, did, and I usually like him.

That said, "so much love, and yet so much information" was a great line.

When Mr. Stiller has someone strong to play off of, or when he is not the main character, he is hysterical. By contrast, too much Stiller is not a good thing (which is why Zoolander is less than the sum of its very good parts).

Reality Bites. Very funny (the look on Winona's face when she sees the edited version of her film is hysterical). I also loved Stiller's attempted takedowns of pretentiously dirty (and annoying) Ethan Hawke.

Flirting With Disaster. Tea Leoni. Nuff said.

Dodgeball. "Joannie loves Chachi!" made the movie.

There's Something About Mary. Stiller forced to play the normal guy. The Farrelly Brothers. A (God, I wish she still looked that hot -- why doesn't she look like that anymore?) Cameron Diaz as Mary. Jonathan Richman as the troubadour. Matt Dillon loving his work with the retards. Good times, good times.

That would be a fair cop, since I'm certainly a vain creature, but then I'm at a loss as to why the particular post raised his hackles or why he cited Sunny.

Agree. But he was the only funny part about that movie. The rest of it was just painful, and not in a good way like David Brent.
