How is it relevant that before he got married, and possibly even before he was serious with the tomato-basil chick, he sometimes had regrets about relationships that had ended? Jesus.

Do those bumper stickers really work?

the side window stickers handed out to family members of NYS Troopers do. As do NYS Trooper training acadamy sweatshirts.

I look back with a sense of wonder sometimes at how choices I have made, with no view toward ending up where I am now, have led to me being where I am now.

Let's have Str8 clarify. Str8 was your post upbeat? Can you shed some light on your post?

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

I think you're projecting, Bunny. Wondering about the choices you've made doesn't tell me anything other than that he was wondering about the choices he made.

Well it certainly isn't the same thing as saying "affirming the choices I've made"

My box is filled with letters, etc. from ex-boyfriends. I keep them out of respect and because they reflect as much about who I was at the time as about the relationships themselves.
The OM's grandmother, a beautiful woman in her late 80s, delighted in showing me photographs of her suitors from before she married Grandfather Man some 60 years earlier. She has been widowed for six or seven years and some of those very men renewed their pursuit after a respectful mourning period. The pictures of them in uniform during the war are wonderful.

She doesn't need to wear that kind of cut because she has a beautiful waist and should show it off.
It might not be flattering, but she is still fucking perfect. Just focus on the cleavage.

It seems pretty desperate, though, to compete with the guy selling the paper.

This reminds me of the time when the firemen in my old neighborhood were standing in the intersection and on the street corners with boots, making collections. For whatever reason, I didn't care. Didn't think much of it until I got to the intersection and a smoking hot fireman was standing next to my car without his shirt on. Naturally, I threw some money in the boot and actually drove through the intersection a couple of times just to see this guy again. Then I went home, called my friend (single) and we ended up driving through the intersection a few more times. It still makes me laugh - girls are funny that way. We always wanted to go to the firehouse and check it out, but never got the nerve.
