Yes, let's put a big old flag on the page. Then we could be patriotic and piss off Ty's dad at the same time.

Edited to add, Dumbass. If you change the hypo, you change the result.

Okay okay. You win. No one hates her.
And I hope you ARE one of the chosen ones.

Come on, World Rulers are supposed to be omniscient. I said nothing in any way relating to Judaism. But TM came to my defense with a movie quote that was then charged with being anti-semitic.
Shape-Shifter, I am losing my faith in you as a divine being.

It amazes me that people ask these questions! When I was in 8th grade, I asked my pregnant PE teacher -- I have no idea why I did this -- if the pregnancy was an accident. She upbraided me severely; and if she hadn't had to go out on maternity leave I'm not sure I'd be here today. Today I am so cautious that I will not even ask an obviously pregnant woman when her due date is unless she specifically informs me that she is pregnant.
A little middle school embarrassment can go a long way in teaching manners. I also asked a music department secretary why she spent so much money to get a leather interior for her bimmer, and her reaction drove home my mother's lesson that it really is best not to ask people why they do what they do with their money.

Not particularly. Perhaps GWNC can opine on that . . .

That would be perfect. Ty, will you invite your dad to visit tomorrow?

Finally, a softball from you.
You hate me. I said I'm not one of the naturally slender HOT chicks -- that doesn't mean I'm frighteningly hideous.

Really? Huh. Tripplets I can understand (though I can't see commenting on it), but twins? To be filed away in the "people are 'dupid" drawer I guess. Then again I went to school with two sets of tripplets and four sets of identical twins I can think of offhand, to my knowledge none drug-induced, so maybe that's just me growing up near nuclear waste fill. Congratulations on your wonder-twins!
Oddly, your post reminded me of the rash assumptions I make whenever I see double (or tripple!) strollers with multiple children clearly old enough to have mastered walking sitting in them. But everyone has been touchy today, so I won't go off on my stroller rant. (If you really want to hear it, find any Paigow post about umbrellas and replace umbrellas with "strollers.")

I'm not really sure what I'm being asked to opine on, but if it helps, I hate you (in a petty, jealous, bitchy way).

I guess this would indicate I am HOT, in a weird math/logic "If A is greater than B, and C is greater than A, B is less than C" kind of way.
Yay me.

I don't think negative reinforcement alone will usually instill manners, even in middle school, though it can reinforce them if there is some basic training already there (and it might encourage the clever to acquire some). You are lucky - you had some underlying parental teaching that allowed you to recognize what caused the teachers' outrage. A shocking number of people would have said that the PE teacher was just obviously defensive and had psychological issues relating to her pregnancy, while the music teacher was just mean and obviously a bad teacher for discouraging curiosity, and what do you expect from a TEACHER who doesn't know any better but to waste her money?

Huh. I guess I will take your word for it, based on your extensive experience with pity fucks.
(This is fun -- I was going to go with self-deprecating but then realized it might be more evidence of submissiveness in the face of robust puppies.)

She isn't. She's fat and not nearly enough people hate her.
