Nope, just twenty minutes. I cant have back to back to back to back to back chicks singing ballads. I figured fifty votes for him was fifty votes against Diana or Latoya Laundry or hopefully Jasmine. George got about twenty five votes since I figure he wont be gone, even if he is bottom three. And those are also votes agasint fast forward triumverate.

I am really starting to dislike that Fantasia though and am starting to feel the schadenfreude. She has the face of Buckwheat and the self assuredness of Donald Trump.

What is Crazy Eyes' real name? I have not been watching recently, but now I want to go to the web site to check her out.

Jennifer Hudson. Be careful, you might fall in love and spend every Tuesday night between 9 and 11 pm hitting redial on your landline phone and your mobile! The Crazy Eyes are hypnotic!

Time for a new avatar.

Yeah, I see. You are a sexist misogynist. Carry on.
Are you calling me a dummy? I am not dum. I am a sexy misogynist, however.

Ah, okay, I remember her now. From the fan site, something that will like totally surprise you:

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
People would be surprised that Ruben and I have the same birthdate.

My ultimate ride? An old suicide door Lincoln Convertible, Caddy Fleetwood or a New behemoth 600 S, all in black with black interior.
I love that everyday on this board, you further narrow the realm of what is cool and acceptable based entirely on your own tastes. If someone doesn't share your opinion on what to drink, wear, drive, listen to or whom to date, they're a poser, easily categorized in your shit system.

You walk through life with blinders and shit-colored glasses. The combination filters and colors everything you see in the most superficial way.

Jennifer was great last night in an overall disappointing show. I thought I dug Barry Manilow but I didnt know most of these songs, and given the way most of the birds sang em, didnt much care. It was like female Clay Aiken night. Gag. John Stevens started off strong on his song but got weaker. I fear for him and hope he doesnt go since ihe is one of the only non overwrought performers.

bottom three should be diana , george and john though Latoya might end up in there in lieu of George or possibly John bc the other two black chicks aer much more compelling than her and Jasmine has all of Hawaii voting for her.

I really hope its Diana gone bc I cannto stomach her (anyone notice she looks like a puertorican Renee Zellweger?)I think its gonna be John Stevens who got the kiss of death of having Simon say who he reminded him of, unless he gets the compensating votes for being bottom three last week.
Insider sign that American Idol is in trouble: In the old days, 100 people would be lined up on Beverly Blvd. at 8:30 a.m. on a Tuesday hoping to get in. Yesterday at 2:30 p.m., as I drove back to work on my way back from Bloomingdale's, there were maybe 20 people lined up. Maybe. The ratings are still strong, but the writing's on the wall.

I disagree with the use of the spelling variant of "poser". Why not use poseur? It is much more evocative.

Doh!

I once knew a groundling, not to name drop, who lived by the credo, "speak softly and carry a big schtick".

LOL!

You really should start directing your comments at the person you're talking about. You're not very good at being passive aggressive.

The universal truth is that people have opinions and their tastes are influenced by those personal opinions.

But I think most people are capable of looking at something they might not like for themselves and appreciate the fact that it still has value. I see clothes on people all the time that I don't particularly like. But a lot of the time, I can see why the look is still pretty cool. I can say to myself, now that's a crazy style. But it works for them. I can do the same with music and most other things.

It seems to me that SD is incapable of that. You either conform to his personal tastes or you are a complete loser, doomed for a stereotypical classification of what he thinks your taste makes you.

I'll do my best to scan your responses to other people to see if you have a response to me.
