Because I know you were all waiting with bated breath . . .
I picked my first tomato today! A cherry variety called Gold Nugget, which I would highly recommend.

Minnesotans. Not Minnesotians. There is practical advice in the article.

Wouldn't it be more productive to punch the people who dress their cats up in clothes, take their pictures, post them on the Interwebs, and then add cutesy, fake-illiterate comments to them?

No, but I clearly need to read that site since otherwise I wouldn't have known that Boston has a Bonbon Bandit on the loose.

My urge to punch blind people was not based on a desire to be productive.

shouldn't you be leaving early in your Hummer to avoid all that construction traffic? We'll suffer here from a loss of your wit, sure. but it's important for you to avoid all that potential road rage.

I didn't know the answer until I typed the word into the magical google:
Quote:
A rather infamous power-up, Kuribo's Shoe is basically a character-sized wind-up shoe in Super Mario Brothers 3 (an NES game, recently ported to GBA). Found in world 5 area 3, it's frequently ridden by Goombas (or Kuribos, as they're known in the Japanese version; hence the shoe's rather odd name), and is a pain to get off of them without getting rid of the shoe in the process. Upon comandeering one of these shoes from an unlucky Goomba, the player suddenly finds themselves in a bouncing shoe that nothing can damage, and any enemy that touches it dies. The only things that pose any threat to the player are falling into pits and having time run out. In essence, Kuribo's Shoe is an all-but-endless invincibility power-up.

Thanks for the concern, but I won't be affected by the construction. And by "won't be affected by the construction," I mean "will be getting continuous road head in my tinted window Hummer so I don't care how long it takes me to get home."

Player!
When SS suggested the train I almost reminded him about how you can't take public transportation because strangers keep coming up and blowing you, unsolicited, and that leads to their significant others wanted to fight you, or leave them. Plus, it makes the less attractive riders jealous.

Enjoy your exotic life of gilded aimlessness with acquaintances drawn from the jeunesse dorée of the age, you pleasure-seeking heroin addict, hell-raising alcoholic, flamboyant waster, and reckless and extravagant host of homosexual orgies.

Rachel Ray
So I heard on the TV this morning that Rachel Ray and her husband are getting a divorce. But can't really find proof. So, maybe you heard it here first.

RT the pimp
My friend's book came out today at Barnes and Noble. Her publisher has an exclusive deal with them, so it'll be only available there until August 1. Afterwards, everyone (i.e. Amazon) should have it.
I picked up Will The Vampire People Please Leave the Lobby? at lunch today.
Go! Buy! Tell your friends to buy!
Maybe you'll see me in there.
