Death watch 2004, and now Scientology
From the article...[heroin addict Courtney] thanks Scientology and Kirstie Alley in the liner notes for her new CD, America’s Sweetheart.

Alley is the spokeswoman for Narconon, a drug treatment program based on the teachings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Alley has credited Scientology with helping her overcome her own drug problems.

So I didn't know that Narconon was founded by L. Ron Hubbard. What else is he involved in?

Spree: Roger Corman discussing how he's saving thousands by casting Kirstie Alley as Grimace in a new bio pic about the troubled Hamburglar character who rose to fame in the 70s and tragically died of syphillus in 1989. "I thought about modifying an old Barney costume, but then we found Kirstie. We just spray painted her purple with biodegradable paint."

I wouldn't call it "dating."

What the Fuck?
If you are going to mention celebrities who are unknown to me, photos would be nice. Or at least correct spelling of their names (Cuttino per the Rockets' website) for my eventual Google search (I'm so weak). Anyway I now know that Patrick Ewing is an assistant coach at Houston. Where have I been? Oh, yeah, I don't follow much pro ball.

Correct. He was originally Dr. Richard Raskin, an ophthalmologist. One of my *friends* from high school swears that her father was his roommate in undergraduate at Yale. I doubt that since she lied about everything else.

how about a scary photo of Courtney Love? I have several of those available.

Edit to fix grammar. Hopefully I caught it before it hit my permanent file in the Timmy club.

Be careful what you ask for - that's a 4 slot toaster.

In other news, more uses for Google.
17-year-old boy who discovered during a Google search that he was allegedly abducted 14 years ago by his mother
LOS ANGELES - Authorities arrested the mother of a 17-year-old boy who saw his picture on a missing children’s Web site and discovered that he was allegedly abducted from Canada 14 years ago.

The boy spotted his own photo, taken when he was 3, on a Canadian missing children’s Web site a few months ago and told a teacher about it, authorities said. The teacher contacted police, who then confirmed the story with Canadian authorities.

Goudreault initially took her son to live in Mexico, authorities said, and she moved to the Los Angeles area in 1995. She has been remarried twice.

I have googled my own name and have found out that it is more common than I had originally thought. And these other people keep taking the good e-mail addresses from me. the bitches.

Booty Surgery

While you people are all out googling yourselves, let me just say that no matter what my butt looks like, I'm not going to pay $10k to make it bigger. No matter what. And I wonder if it feels different when you sit. It must.

Booty implants on the rise due to JLo and Beyonce
For women, “maximum projection” -– the point at which the buns stick out farthest from the body –- should be about level with the pubic mound, according to Young. For men, maximum projection would be a bit higher, closer to the navel.

Furthermore, Young says, “the gluteal crease, where your buttocks join your thighs, should not go past two-thirds of the way across the thigh.” Finally, every perfect backside should have that pert "dimple" at the top, where the upper curve of the buns meet at the base of the spine.

Better-booty business booming
Whatever the ideal turns out to be, U.S. demand for more fabulous fannies is currently outstripping supply.

Who knew there was such science involved in your ass?

Is that the same ass twice? Huh. Not liking the panties/underwear/whatever you want to call them. Unattractive, and really worried about what a coordinating bra would look like.

Edited to remove image, which I could have done without the first time. RP.

Yes, that's the same ass twice. You have to admit though, that the first one is a really flat ass.

I think I would have gone with some lipo on the thighs before worrying at all about the ass. I'm not saying that to be mean (although I admit it is mean). I'm saying that because I'm familiar with the issues with which the anonymous butt model is contending.

[fuck I hate grammar.]

Whether my familiarity is personal or abstract I will not say {sigh}, but I agree. It should be easier to make one's butt protrude than to thin one's thighs and hips. You can't decide where to lose fat, but you can decide where to build muscle. I think the butt model has her head up her ass when it comes to determining the proper allocation of scarce plastic surgery resources.
