And furthermore, the other admins are correct in that there is no way, using our current software, for the admins to read your PMs. Of course, it is all data, stored in a database (duh), and if an admin wanted to go through the database and look at the PM tables, they most certainly could. However, I think I am the only person who currently knows how to do that, 'cept for maybe leagl.
I for one constantly read other people's PMs. It's how I spend my days. I filter through all the text, dreamily reading people's personal communications. Then I print them out, take them home, put them on my bed, and make love with my g/f on top of them. This is cause I get so turned on by the hot, steamy exchanges of the FB denizens.

I love the soap opera that is the FB, especially the super secret exhange of PMs. Most especially your PMs Paigow.

I think I'll write a book - The Erotic Secrets of the FB

actual notes

Inspired by ncs and a desire to look in the box where I keep stuff in, I bring you "Actual Law School Notes":

(names changed where necessary and no, I didn't keep all my notes, just some that I thought were amusing)

This is a note conversation we had one day in civil procedure:

Friend: Jason's dick is like a pyramid
me: ?
friend: big at the bottom pointy on top, also kind of square
me: geometric wonder
me again: sharp edges?
friend: ouch! no
me: a big pyramid - 7th wonder of the world?
friend: no
me: too bad
me again: I want to see this pyramid dick
friend: tonight we'll tell him you want to join in - ha
me: ok parteee!
friend: Tony looks like Corky
me: who is Corky
friend: Life Goes On
me: I think he's cute

(I added some punctuation, but you get the gist)

I forced someone who knows us both to tell me that the person I thought was you was not in fact you. And BOY was I relieved.

Cute ending, but I may be easily amused/pleased this morning.

Sex toys still illegal in Alabama

Like in Texas, a dildo is illegal but a gun is cool.

I ask this because I found myself today imagining that this BITCH of an opposing counsel in one of my cases can come from giving oral. I don't think she's Canadian, though.

I am starting to suspect that Sebastian Dangerfield was a college suitemate of mine. Let me try this out: Sebby, I was fucking your girlfriend. That was not cool, and I'm sorry.

Ages ago I was convinced I knew someone else on the board, but that was because he really was a fat guy at Willkie, and this was before I realized that people on the FB lie about themselves.
You and everybody else. Oh, by the way... she had warts. They're asymptomatic in men.

Oh, I used to "wipe off" on the pillow. Hope you didn't sleep on the left side.

I wonder if I developed a line of gun shaped dildoes if the legislature would grant me an exemption.

Assuming the knife would come off the gun in the picture, would the black curvy part be used as a DP device or would it vibrate a la the rabbit?

Oh, I'm just at the brainstorming stage right now. Vibrators are not per se illegal in Texas, just dildoes.

As evidenced by the large selection of "back massagers" at your local Walgreens. I once bought one of those for my mom as a Christmas gift. I was quite young at the time. Not sure what purposes (if any) it was ever used for. I feel better not knowing.

amish

I'm curious, did anyone watch the new Amish reality show? There is no way for anyone in the middle of Pennsylvania to see it, unless perhaps there is some satellite feed that picks up UPN. I find it extraordinary that the channel is actually refusing to show it, that is until they decide if they approve.

I saw portions of this last night. It was pretty interesting. Gotta love the accents on the Amish kids -- totally rockin'. I bet this show will be pretty good. I will watch it if I am not kayaking when it is on.

I watched part of it. Wasn't planning to, but I heard an NPR (!!) interview with the creator of the show (who also did the documentary about this exploration period (I forget the name of it) for Amish youth), and it piqued my curiousity. That coupled with the fact that all my Sat-Tues Tivoed shows were jacked up, led me to channel surfing last night and I happened to see that it was on about halfway through the show.

It was pretty good. Didn't make the Amish kids seem like total freaks or anything. There are already some minor clashes in the house between the Amish kids and the city kids, but there is also a fair amount of curiousity and learning in both directions. One Amish kid apparently almost drowned in the the ocean after only ever swimming in "mudholes". It is pretty easy to see already that some of the kids will go back and some won't.

I saw a documentary on the Amish Rumispringa (or whatever it is called) two nights ago while I was doing some dry land exercises to prepare for my next kayaking trip. It was pretty cool, and was discussed in yesterday's NYT article talking about the reality TV show.
