That is my usual vacation slot because I get the two free days off, so really it is only taking away 3 work days. And Thanksgiving dinner is quite lovely in Hawaii. Turkey and Mai Tais with a view of the ocean. This only works if you've already broken your family in to the concept that holidays are best enjoyed separately. I did that several years ago with my Christmas In Cabo mandate.

OK you Ohio people - is she hot?

She used to be on TV here in Philadelphia and yes, she is (or, at least was) hot. She got in some trouble here for nearly breaking up the marriages of more than one Sixer.
ETA picture.
You can find a bit of blurb about her departure from Philadelphia here

Why aren't there any pictures of her then? (OK, we posted at the same time, she looks OK).
Speaking of Sixers, how was that game last night? I still love the Glove, (I weep for his having to move to Boston) but my new boy RayRay is on fire.

In college, it was Jimmy Buffett songs ("Why Don't We Get Drunk" was on the jukebox at the local hangout). Currently, I am not much of a drunken singer.
Uh, usually, that is. I have to admit that on occasion I find myself singing weepy Irish songs after a few too many Bushmills. Usually, it's "Danny Boy." Less often, it's "I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen," "The Wearin' o' the Green," or "The Minstrel Boy."
But come ye baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.....(sniff)

I was there very close to the court. RayRay has the must beautiful jumpshot I have ever seen. Fucking perfect. He shot 60% from 3 and, the way things were dropping, I honestly expected every single shot he took to fall. Radmanovic and Rashard Lewis also played very well. They're a bit soft in the middle (Danny Fortson? Please...) but their shooting and good team D could carry them quite a while.

Well they picked us to be dead last in our division. Of course, "they" also picked the Seahawks to take NFC West.
I've only been able to see the Kings game, but Fortson looked like he was getting every rebound. And getting Brad Miller's goat at the same time. I get screwed on the Fox affiliate games even though I pay for FoxNorthwest.
Someone should look into getting an NBA team for the Bay Area.

Mark it up and change it from November 26, 2004 to December 1, 2004. Then slip that page into someone else's markup. If one person says it, everyone else will be quick to accept it as a good idea.

Like warm butter on the hot french toast. But I like Alan Houston's form better. Plus he doesn't need as much elavation.

Back in the good ole days (before Windows, the Internet and when fax machines were REALLY new) I worked on a poison pill case one summer. We would have hours to draft and file replies. Filing in this case involved flying to San Francisco to hand deliver to the court. Somehow it always worked out we managed to file our motions just before all the long weekends/holidays. They worked Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.
Ahh, good times, good times.
Anne
Never had to change vacation plans.
