You sound like the soundtrack from Rent.

Who the F invented the term "deliverables"? That person should be killed, along with the person who moved the term "leverage" from physics to MBA business babble.
Have you yet encountered the "cross-functional team"? That's my favorite.

I have no idea whether this is actually true, but the fact that you either know that, or pretend to know that, is sad.

For me, it means quitting, setting up the "Law Offices of LessinSF," and using that to bill about 500 hours a year of contract work. The rest of the time will be spent travelling, sleeping, golfing, reading at cafes while smoking stanky stogies, gambling, philosophizing and otherwise holding forth, drinking, eating, fucking/masturbating, scratching myself while watching TV, and otherwise Wonking in whatever manner I see fit.

Unrequited desire is a horrible thing. Apparently desire requited for 30-45 seconds is a much more lingering problem.

I invented the term "deliverables". I also moved "leverage" from physics to business babble shortly after I got my MBA.

Your girlfriend knows where I live. You may come kill me now.

sadly, that is the only musical i have any interest in and pretty much know the dialogue and soundtrack. not sure why my brain chooses to remember that and not other stuff. at least they have a "rock" band. the bohemian themes may scare off the lawyer types a bit.

The problem is that killing you would use too much of my bandwidth and would not help us work toward a mutally beneficial solution. The offending words are baked into standard vocabulary and therefore there is no win-win solution.

I know all the dialogue and soundtrack to Lion King. And most of Beauty and Beast. Is that uncool?
