Thank you, one and all, for the flurry of explanations. I am gratified that I have not developed in involuntary and amneisa-producing crack habit.

Well, they'd better charge 'em all for the ride, because it's a complete write off afterwards.

It's interesting that when I suggest that there may sometimes be issues of sexism around the matter of strip clubs--holy crap! what an anti-joy ball-buster!--all you can really think of as a response is to demean me sexually. BTW, I've noticed you occasionally object to things you perceive as racist.

Exactly. This is why you have to hold your shirt out the window on the drive home. Or if you are a woman, keep scented lotion around or carry perfume samples so you can say, "Smell like what? Probably a combination of my normal perfume, my scented lotion, and the perfume samples I picked up over lunch."

And any guy who thought he "only" ran up a $2000 tab would not be at Scores for the first time. He wife would either not give a shit, or be pissed but used to it.

Mrs. Hand doesn't care when I go. Hell, I tell her. Then again I only go a couple of times a year, with the guys (she knows them all), don't spend a ton of $, and don't get any "take-out". She does the same with her friends. Who cares...

ADL and I would like to arrange a private showing the next time I'm in town. You can, of course, sit in the back of the room to make sure things don't go too far. We are willing to pay slightly more than the typical $20 fee for a lap dance.

Even when drunk, I am good at covering my tracks. I always stop at the 24 hour Target and use the rest room to freshen up and check for evidence. You gotta be smart to beat the system. Oh, and you gotta pay cash.
This reminds me of an incident where I was driving down the interstate at about 70 MPH holding my shirt out the window so it would "air out." Someone in that back room was wearing perfume, and I'm not sure who it was. I'd like to go back to find out, however.

Not necessarily. Depends on the club, but often 50% or more of "dance money" goes straight to the club for "overhead". Other clubs require the ladies to pay them up front ($100+), on top of a cut of the dance money, just to work for the evening in their establishment. Makes it tough for the nice young ladies working their way through school.*
*Anybody ever buy that line? Except Mr. $28k tab, that is??

I've seen that show...
On a related note, Mrs. dL came in 2nd place (lost to a gymnast) in a cage dancing contest during beach week while in college. I was not present (I didn't know her then) but when I finally did meet her, all I could think about (well, not all...) were the stories I heard about the cage dancing. She has, since then, hung up her clear heels.

I thought it was that universal stripper perfume that has an odor half-life of 16 months. Does their union have a deal with whoever makes that stuff?
