She looks like Brunhilde, which is quite appropriate for the Vikings

I am not so sure about Nikki. Maybe she just needs a better hair stylist.

She looks nice in that b&w pic from 10 years ago or whatever.

I am currently wearing flip flops. I am taking full advantage of the "it's 92 in October and there are, like, fires" exception to my firm's dress code. I am much more productive in flip flops, I have found.

Yeah, sure. I wish she had filled out her profile. The profiles really give you a glimpse at the person behind the cheerleader uniform. Take Gina, for example:
http://www.vikings.com/CheerleadersP...gina_2007.aspx
Gina lists as her personal goal: "Gina someday hopes to get married and start a family with someone that she loves!"
She also has career goals that includes to "enjoy a successful and rewarding career."
Marriage involving love and a career with success and rewards. That is the type of out-of-the-box thinking you might not associate with a cheerleader. If you were a closed-minded prick, that is.

She is diverse. In fact, you probably would not know, because she has a low tolerance for spicy foods, that she is part Mexican.

gina is okay looking, and maybe i'd do her, but I wouldn't start a family with her. I'd be afraid my kids would end up with big horse teeth. NTTAWWT

You should check out the cheerleader chit-chat on the Patriots' site. Modern multi-media can give all kinds of insight into the souls of cheerleaders not possible in an earlier age. There's more to building pyramids of unclothed flesh than you might imagine.

I feel a bit bad for Heather that the stylist that day fucked up the styling of her hair so badly.
Apparently that stylist doesn't do "sleek" or "stylish", but he/she clearly has a grasp of "big".
(I will not be so cruel as to get into whether or not that type of hairstyle works with her nose and other facial features. Okay, fine, I don't think it does work. Sorry, Heather.)

I am of the same general attitude today, though I did not think about flip-flops in particular. Perhaps the fires will continue until tomorrow such that I can adjust accordingly.
Over the last day or two, I've stopped reading the board momentarily to admire the smoke pouring from the Malibu canyons which give the sky that nice orange/reddish tinge. Today, though, it seems to be clearing a bit.

word to the wise: if there is a possibility you'll be caught in a fire storm on your way home, perhaps "flip flops" are not the best choice footwear. i would recommend something steel toed and mid calf until they get these fires under control. You may find yourself fleeing your car in a shower of embers and soot. That could fuck up the pedicure dressed your way.

There is no possibility she will be caught in a fire storm on the way from her office to her home.
My workplace is not fire-casual. Dammit!

On both the Blackout and 9/11 I wore sneakers to work. Walking over the Queensboro Bridge, I surely was glad I did so.

Goals of cheerleaders:
Amanda (1 of 3): "To devote nothing but my all to each and every challenge, get married, and start a family!"
Amanda (3 of 3): "Amanda hopes to one day get married, have a family, travel the world and lead a long, happy and healthy life."
Amber: "To have a fulfilling and happy marriage, to have children, and to always push herself to be her personal best spiritually, emotionally, and physically."
Chelsey: "Be successful in whatever she chooses to do and some day wants to get married and have an amazing family!"
Gina: "Gina someday hopes to get married and start a family with someone that she loves!"
Jessie: "Live a healthy lifestyle, remain close with family and friends, fall in love, and raise little football players and cheerleaders."
Kristina: "To live each day to the fullest and never give up on her dreams. She also looks forward to getting married and having a beautiful family."
Laura: "To be the proud owner of many pets!"
Wha?? Pets? What about marriage and family? STOP ROCKING THE BOAT, LAURA!

That's what you get for having the fires not affect you in any way.
