Bliss is awesome for mani-pedis. They totally transformed my feet there.

I use Dr. Haushka day eye balm and jurlique eye gel in combination for day. Dr. Haushka is a bit heavy for most, but I like it b/c my skin around my eyes is especially dry.

Do you think when Buckwild said she was "scared" after Like Dat accused her of mocking black people with the way she talked, that she meant she was scared of Like Dat, or scared that when the show aired, black people would want to kick her ass?

What does it do? Instantly reduce swelling? Is it moisturizing at all, or just swelling-reducing?

But I suppose I'd object more if I wasn't sufficiently numb at the moment of truth.

Kinerase firming - really good at reducing puffiness.

ETA that the actual name is Under Eye Rescue. They have another one that is supposed to be for wrinkles, but I haven't tried that one.

There is new and improved novacaine that doesn't do this. I had some temps put in last week (yay no more silver amalgam fillings!) and the novacaine was in by 3:00 and completely done by 6:00.

I have no idea if it moisturizes, I just know that if I put it on when I am puffy and dark, that it has an almost instantaneous effect. I put a moisturizing cream on my eyes every night, so I'm not so worried about my day cream being moisturizing

I've had that novocain, too, and I think it wore off even more quickly than that -- within 2 hours. But I don't know whether the faster-acting stuff would work for a root canal.

Does the new and improved novacaine also not give those of us who are sensitive to the "-caine" variety of pharmaceuticals all the other unpleasant side effects like racing heart and the unbelievable urge to vomit? Because if so, I must look into this new and improved novacaine.

This is good for daily.

There's also a gel for puffiness that I got as a free sample that I really like for those special days.

Trust me. I've had enough root canals in the past year to know (more than 3!!) it works just fine for root canals.

No, you'll still get the racing heart. I do at least. But I don't get the feeling to vomit. But with the heart racing, no better or worse than the stuff that lasts all day.
