Me either. But some of those little fucking yappy dogs deserve a good kickin on G.P.

Word is it was an AUTHENTIC 1935 Detroit Tigers sweater. A woman of quality understands its value.

You know I come here for fashion advice, and criticism. The mistress having to write Dear Abby (why isn't she dead?) only goes to point to failings of those on this board. It's always "Hank can't spell" or "Hank is stupid." No one ever said to throw a sweater away once it gets beat.

Reminds me of when a neighborhood friend's dog died. I could tell that the father wasn't too enthusiastic about burying the dog in the backyard, but he went ahead and did it anyway, and even reluctantly participated in the Saying of a Few Words about the departed member of the family. I think it was the rendition of "Rock of Ages" that sent him over the edge.

I once wrote a 3 page obituary for a dead beta fish (cause of death: humiliation) that I had for a year. I was 29 when I wrote it. Its predecessor (cause of death: murder) did not get an obit, and I feel sort of bad about that.
I thought it was actually a pretty funny obit.

I don't get this, but it's good to see you back. Before Friday.
Maybe I should post this on the recipe board?
ATLANTA -- The father of one of two 13-year-old girls accused of serving poisoned cake to about a dozen students said today he and his daughter were sorry it happened.
It was a horrible prank that went too far and a lot of people have suffered," the father told The Associated Press.
The girls were held on assault charges Wednesday, a day after handing out the cornbread cake at East Cobb Middle School.
Lab tests showed the icing contained an expired prescription drug, bleach, clay and hot-pepper sauce, police said. Eleven students who ate it were treated at a hospital and released.

Why would anyone eat anything that even remotely smelled like bleach?
And tobasco?

Sounds very cute. Fact is, I can remember keeping a plaque in the "barn" (this glorifies what is was) that I carved the names of my various deceased four legged friends on. A little in memoriam. But, like your obit, that was really something just for me.
By the way, we went off on a tangent before. My real point was, a condolence card for a pet could be rec'd poorly if the act of putting the animal down is one that someone feels badly about . But it sounds like you know the situation.
