Seriously? Exactly how many 4 legged friends have you "put down?" Should I warn your current 4 legged friends?

Oh, the obit was widely published and went to everyone (I'd post it here, but I'd like to maintain a veil of anonymity for appearance sake), including the fish murderer who finally confessed to why Ferdinand ended up in the freezer.
I'm not going to be as cavalier about the Displaced Dog, but then I don't have to be. ( see firey crash, supra)

I hate "height h".
It makes me want to cave the speaker's skull in. By dropping something on them.
From a great height.

I'm starting to get a worrisome vision of you with a very sick (or possibly even just died) DD, carrying him/her out to the car (mumbling, if already dead, "not dead, not dead yet"), and plowing the car into a tree to create referenced firey crash.

I didn't put them all down, nor did the 'rents. But given that we usually had from a dozen to two dozen animals at any given point, and given normal life expectancy, as well as a neighborhood pack of dogs who caused some trouble, dealing with deceased animals was not uncommon. We didn't raise animals for meat, and so weren't expecting to do any of them in before their time (though, of course, there's not much else to do with the surplus males, who usually left the premises at a pretty early age, but whose inevitable end we were distanced from).

They missed some of mine, too.
Pass muster
harassment
patina
foyer
valet (admittedly, not in much use anymore)
drapes (should be pronouced "curtains")
They did catch mauve, though, which drives me wild.
FWIW, I say poinsettia with 4 sylables. I also say persnickty. I'm not sure if I pronounce a "t" in often - I think I may, but if so it is soft rather than hard so it's only noticeable if you are actively listening for a t. I can't get enough distance on "often" to know what I do - I studied its pronunciation for a linguistic history class in undergrad.
Another fun linguistics test - do you pronounce "dog" and "log" the same way? A shocking number of people don't.
BR(Not Bob, I sing the Minstrel in English when drunk, too, same version you posted. When I get wasted the only Klingon I can remember is "QI'yaH petaQ" - roughly "fucking loser")C

Well, with my driving, there's a distinct possibility that I will not have to orchestrate our joint demise.
for reference: who could live without this?

I think the joke was more something to do with being able to spell "loser" correctly only when translating from Klingon.
