Mystery Lovers' Hibernation Recommendation

The only Laurie King I've read is Folly, which I thought was incredible. I'm planning on picking up both of her other series as soon as I get some of my "to be read" out of the way.

Edited to add that Folly is not a legal thriller, but is set in contemporay times. There is a follow up that just came out, and I'm disremembering the name of it.

Speaking of the "to be read" pile, anyone have a favorite magazine that they read cover to cover, Letters to the Editor and all?

I have a stack of Smithsonians that I need to get through before I start the books on my hibernation list. I enjoy it so much that I usually wait until I have several issues so I can read them back to back.

Vanity Fair is a close second. I read most of it.

Wrong. Who wants to date twins separately? Jesus, that would be a nightmare. Twice the girlfriend in terms of nagging, whining and discussions about feelings, without the variety. You have the same conversations twice, but it would be like fucking the same girl even though you're not. Who needs it?

You want them to be close. Not too close, but close enough so that you can fuck them at the same time without them being into each other. All attention on you.

You just made me shiver. Twice the feelings? Would you have to shop with BOTH of them too?

Had a lay down Woo once.
I wished you live here. You are in Boston right? I would totally learn bridge with you, and I live to play Hearts. And we could watch tennis matches together.

OK, I am making us sound like a hypothetical fiftysomething lesbian couple.

And to think I was pondering a move to DC before I found my new job in Beantown. So close.

This magazine is unreadable. And I love reading about sports.

Actually, Sport's Illustrated used to be good, but sucks now. What happened?

You're doing twins and you're whining about having to go shopping with them?

Neanderthal, please. At least make yourself useful and take out their garbage.

Apropos of nothing, I still laugh whenever I think about that scene in "The Sure Thing" where the English professor reads John Cusack's "Dear Penthouse Forum" letter out loud in class.
