And you are a dumbass. Ever hear of sarcasm? I could care less what anyone calls anyone else. I just think all this PC crap has gotten out of hand so I am making fun of it. JFC, I cannot even bring up a topic like Tiger Woods clearly having issues with his racial composition without everyone screaming racist.
One prime example of PC run amok was when I heard a gay guy complain that a hetero guy called another hetero guy a cocksucker. The gay guy objected to the use of the term cocksucker to insult another male.
In the future, I will try to spell things out in more literal terms to help you along. I will write slower, too, and maybe that will help you some, too.

The Carpetbagger
So was Russert setting her up here - seems like he's had it out for her for some time now?
"MR. RUSSERT: Before we go, the Buffalo Bills vs. the New Jersey Jets.
SEN. CLINTON: The New Jersey Jets, that’s right.
MR. RUSSERT: Who you for?
SEN. CLINTON: Well, I’m for the Buffalo Bills. Is there any question? That’s the only New York team we have, right?"

Tim Russert is a smart man who apparently would rather play "gotcha!" than use his powers to promote good.
If you read the above excerpt and assume that Clinton is a smart woman -- I understand that this may involve a radical suspension of disbelief for some denizens of this board, and may in fact be counterfactual vis-a-vis the National. Football. League., who knows -- you could conclude that she is rooting for the Bills because the Jets (and Giants) have decamped to New Jersey and are NY teams in name only now.

Your implication seems to be that this is incorrect. Am I right?

So why are you angry with me? I was absolutely and precisely correct, your posts are a caricature of extreme Political Correctness. You've just admitted it yourself.
However, nothing in your prior posts on this board would lead anyone to think you were not serious. :soapbox:

The Giants and the Jets have "New York" in their names, but practice and play in north New Jersey.

But you are forgiven since it is not always easy to figure out sarcasm and the like on a bulletin board. :sarcastic

Maybe the two of you aren't talking about the same prior posts.

Only a lawyer could draw that conclusion. And I'm sure she didn't mean it that way, because that would piss off, well, about all of NYC and surrounding areas - in other words, her most supportive constituency.
I don't necessarily think this was fair of Russert, but I can definitely tell you that DiFi, for example, would know all of California's pro teams.

If you read it without knowing who was speaking, you would read it my way.

You actually think she meant to say that the New York Giants and the New York Jets are not New York teams?

It's hardly an uncommon opinion, and I would imagine that she is at least as aware as most that they have left NY for NJ. Did you see the show (I didn't)? If she said it ironically, she could convey that NY sports fans feel abandoned by the Jints and Jets.

Thought that was pretty funny, too. I just love that they named one of their songs "My Land." Hee-Hee.

I think that they sent them to Syria while we were busy taking Baghdad.
