True. And they are, from about 5p to 6:30p, when the private sector folks arrive at the bar.
Sure, adder, it's just like law school. The hot chicks in law school aren't that hot, but they'll do in a pinch. Same for the paralegals once you get to a law firm. But that's not really the point, is it? I don't see too many of my law school classmates on the cover of laddie mags, or held out as some hottie. Danica patrick is. She's not on the Valvoline Girls of Racing calendar in your local auto-body shop--she's getting heavily promoted like Jennie Finch (also not as hot as she seems at first glance). To deserve that, you ought to be more than just hot in your usual environs.

In descending order, I would argue that there are different standards for hot models, hot pin up girls, hot movie actresses, hot tv actresses, hot people you see on the street, hot acquaintances, hot coworkers and hot friends.
I guess I am arguing for a sliding scale of hotness based on expectations and familiarity. Think about it, is the friend that you have always secretly had a crush on not just as hot to you, although in a different frame of reference, as your favorite movie actress (cue Halle pics)? Isn't the woman you are trying to hook up with at the end of the night in a bar just as hot as your favorite lingerie model with the relevant frame of reference (the alcohol helps, of course)?
You seem to be being she isn't hot enough to be a pin up girl. That may be, but she is still a hot athlete.
And, to raise a truly bogus standard, I would totally do her, even though I could raise some mild criticism of even the FHM pic.

Don't feel bad. Really the only thing that being Pretty on the internets has gotten me is a super hot internet girlfriend. Yeah, now that you mention it, it rocks.

I was on a Snap-On-Tools calendar in 1988.
I'm having a deja vu moment, like I may have posted this before. Anyway, it's worth repeating.
edited to note that I also have a very Pretty internet girlfriend. You are all very jealous of me.

I think NFH would totally be my internet gf if I asked nicely. Maybe some package deal with her grandpa thrown in. How pathetic would you feel then? You'd probably cry. Ruining those pretty pretty internet looks. Bwahahahahahahahaha. Haha.
Motherfucker, I have a godawful headache.

I'm not sure NFH can really be anyone's internet "girl"-friend. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
Anyway, if you had consulted me when you were creating your internet persona, I would have advised you to pick a trait such as Pretty over the other assorted options, such as Festive or Manlike. But you just had to keep mentioning cake, didn't you?

Heh. Festive.
I think sebby picked pretty for you.
ETA Mmmmmm, cake. I made brownies for myself over the weekend. Cake is better, but more time-consuming.

I'm not sure I follow the humor that has been dominating today. Do people think NFH is a guy?
